A large public, four year college was established in 1954 and boasts over 17,000 students and 122 majors, from certificates to postmaster certification. At this University, a newly developed program will soon offer students a Diagnostic Medical Sonography education. Students will be prepared for employment as a general sonographer, obtaining fetal, vascular, abdominal and gynecological images for review by the Physician or Radiologist.
